A People That Can Do Exploits

In these last days, the great whore is going to oppose the church. The spirit of antichrist has already been in the world for over two thousand years. From the book of Revelation, we were able to see that this great whore, or the apostate religious system, is going to be the vehicle that launches the antichrist into power. We know the return of the Lord is imminent. Beloved, it’s sooner than when we first believed; amen? Nobody knows the reason that this has prolonged itself for two thousand years, but maybe it’s because God is merciful and not willing that any would perish and giving to every generation the opportunity to humble themselves and bow their knees that they would know the love of God and not have to know the justice and wrath of God. We serve a good Father, a loving heavenly Father; amen?
We need to come to our Father as a people in desperation. We’re a people at this very hour that need to hear, clearly, His voice. Through our studies we found out one thing for sure: that if this hour that we’re in would not be shortened, that even the very elect may not be able to stand. We’ve seen that it’s an hour of deception, strong delusion, false prophets and teachers speaking lies in hypocrisy. We saw that even the great apostle wondered at this great whore in all of its glory—lying signs and wonders will be done that have, possibly, never been seen. And God’s allowed us to come to this hour; each one of us is here by sovereign purpose. We need help to fulfill the purpose for which God’s preserved us. We need to look for His grace and glory in the midst of this. Let Him be glorified. Let men see the good works in His church and be glorified in it, amen?
We look around at ourselves and are sometimes reminded of David’s mighty men—quite a motley crew, really, many of them the outcasts in their society. They gathered around him as he was leaving Jerusalem, and he declared if God would have him return as king, he would sovereignly do it and sent the ark back to its place, having confidence in God and a humility that would say, “If You’re done with me now, then the will of the Lord be done.” Amen?
And I look at us, and sometimes it’s almost laughable. And I won’t address this to you, I’ll just address it to myself. We are the force; we are the force that’s restraining evil in the world today. Amen? He that now letteth, the church… Take just a moment, and look to your right and to your left, and what do you see? Let me tell you what God sees: mighty warriors; amen? Let me tell you what God sees: a people that can do exploits, a people that can run through a troop and leap over a wall, hallelujah! Let me tell you what God sees: He sees a people adorned in the armor of God with a shield of faith and the sword of the Spirit, (praise God!) praying, interceding in this very hour. Let me tell you what God sees: He sees a church, and the gates of hell will not prevail against it, hallelujah! That’s who we are. And with all that we’ve been talking about that’s coming upon us, you don’t have to fall. Amen? Provision has been given. He is able to keep that that we’ve committed unto Him against that day, hallelujah! But what we’ve been seeing in these false teachers and false prophets is this: a seduction of the hearts and the minds of this true church—a church that, by the way, is to be preparing herself diligently for His soon return; amen? He is going to appear to those that love His appearing. The bride is making herself ready. He’s coming for a church that’s without spot or wrinkle or any such thing.
